Abstract

Suprasellar masses are varied in aetiology and can present diagnostic problems for a radiologist. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) has largely replaced computed tomography (CT) as a diagnostic tool for these Lesions, although CT can provide complementary information in some conditions. In this article, we review imaging features of common suprasellar lesions with emphasis on MRI features. (C) 2007 The Royal College of Radiologists. Published by Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
