This is a revised and expanded edition based of the well-known two previous editions (John Wiley & Sons, 1987 and 1997). The book was adopted or used for undergraduate and graduate courses at many universities worldwide. This edition reflects well all new developments after 1997. Among the new topics are: fractial Brownian motion, stochastic finance models, free probability. A special Appendix was prepared for this edition, it contains more than 400 recent publications containing explicit examples and counterexamples to illustrate the range of validity of important results. Several topics discussed in the book are at a research level.
