Abstract

As part of a wider research focusing on socially engaged spatial practice, the project presented here aimed to engage the actors involved in an apparently unused outdoor space and initiate a social and spatial transformative process. The objective was to demonstrate how spatial quality can emerge by means of temporary interventions by bringing about mental and physical appropriation of an unused outdoor space.
