Abstract

A panchromatic absorbing, NIR emittingneutral iridium complexes bearing a tripodal 2-(bis(4-(tert-butyl)phenyl)methyl)pyridinato (dtBubnpy) ligand, a bidentatediethyl [2,2 0-bipyridine]-4,4 0-dicarboxylate(deeb)] ligand and a chloro ligand isreported. This complex was used as a dyein a dye-sensitized solar cell.
