Abstract

The durability of a structure can be defined as the structure's ability to remain fit for purpose during its design working life. This book discusses the durability of materilas used in the construction industry and includes aluminium, composites, concrete, masonry, steel, and timber among others. The book further covers standards, codes and the legal aspects of durability.
