| The likely consequences of accession to the European Union as they may be experienced by the Croatian shipbuilding industry are examined. The underlying principals that have enabled higher cost shipbuilders in Europe and elsewhere to survive are evaluated and conclusions are drawn with respect to strategic options for the future of the Croatian industry. |
