| The development of bimetallic m-oxoaluminium(acen) complexes as highly active catalysts for the synthesis of cyclic carbonates from terminal epoxides and carbon dioxide is described. The resulting homogeneous catalysts are used in batch reactions for the synthesis of cyclic carbonates at room temperature and one atmosphere pressure. |
