This was a report published by NCEPOD following a 3 year audit of deaths in the over 80s after surgery in England. I wrote the bid for this audit in 2007 and was on the commissioning team.No single author is in the final report but I am advised that such hugely inflential reports can be included in the REf if an individual played a significant role in the work which I certainly did.
