Festival Robert Walser: An interdisciplinary art festival dedicated to the life and work of the unique, modernist, Swiss writer Robert Walser (1878-1956). The first ever UK festival brought together local and international writers, performers, academics, musicians and visual artists to explore the influence of this extraordinary writer on contemporary artists. Participants include: Billy Childish (artist), Roman Signer (artist), Reto Sorg (director of the Robert Walser Zentrum Bern), Jo Catling (translater), Luke Williams (writer), Daniele Pantano (writer), theatre-between (theatre), Tender Buttons (theatre) and Skimstone Arts (theatre). The festival was organised and curated by Paul Becker, Tess Denman-Cleaver, Gabriele Heller, Catrin Huber and Claire Webster-Saaremets.
