Abstract

A major excavation monograph detailing the results of the largest excavation ever undertaken in Southwark, South London. This volume reports on archaeological sequence from the prehistoric periods up until the early Middle Ages. The Roman phases include a major Romano-Celtic religious sanctuary, including two temple buildings and very large finds assemblages.
