Copydex is Edmondes's solo plunderphonic project. Copydex was invited by the team that runs Sonic Protest festival to perform a bespoke new work at the St Merri church (next to Centre Pompidou) in Paris. The organisers' interest had grown from their having for many years listened to Copydex online, especially The Burst Musician which was submitted as part of RAE 2006. Edmondes composed the new work and performed it on May 5th 2017 at St Merri. As a research output the package comprises a recording of the performance, a recording of its 'blueprint' studio version, and an essay/article (to be published where possible) critically reflecting on the process and the project as a whole.
