| In this chapter we draw upon a growing number of studies (including our own) that have been researching sexuality in a number of educational arenas that includes empiricist, culturalist and standpoint epistemologies. This chapter is the first to offer a direct critique of conventional approaches research methodology on sexuality and schooling; in other words, it highlights how our knowledge of sexuality is limited by the very methodologies we use to increase or improve our knowledge. |
