The video is a collaboration with Roland Rust and looks at instances of fortification from a variety of perspectives, historical, psycho- and sociological, military and subjective. IT security consultant Ethan provides a detour through the effects of digitalisation. The video visits crucial sites of the implementation of surveillance technologies from the geodesic radomes of Menwith Hill to the pyramid-cum-space station lay-out of Fylingdales and the pagodas and tumuli erected during the 2nd World War on Orford Ness.
