Abstract

The IMAGE (Intelligent Mobility Agent for Complex Geographical Environments) project (IST 5th Framework [CPA3] Ubiquitous and Intelligent Info-Mobility and Geo-Information Systems) aims to provide users with flexible, mobile, personalised, location-based information on services, how to reach them, and means to pay for them. It brings together a Europe-wide consortium with partners from Finland, Germany, Greece, Italy and UK. An open modular service platform with advanced key services will be designed, developed and tested in Turin and Tampere. IMAGE will enable re-organisation of business models and relationships, with integrated service provision and interoperable system architecture
