Abstract

'Katie Cuddon's practice incorporates a variety of media and processes from computer-generated drawings to clay installations. This exhibition displays her recent work produced while a Norma Lipman Research Fellow at Newcastle University. It explores our desire and failure to represent complex entiments. Katie is a recent graduate of the Royal College of Art. She was the prize winner of the 2002 Deutsche Bank Pyramid Award and won 2nd place in the 2005 Jerwood Drawing Prize. She has exhibited widely both here and abroad and has recently received a Sainsbury Scholarship in Sculpture and Drawing at the British School at Rome.
