I curated this Prom celebrating the music of Percy Grainger, specifically his folk music settings. I also presented it, performed in it and created new musical arrangements which were performed by the Kathryn Tickell Band and members of Northern Sinfonia, conducted by John Harle.I also wrote an article for the official BBC Proms programme.The idea of this Prom was to present not only Grainger's own arrangements of folk songs, but getting established folk artists to perform some of the material Grainger was inspired by. Artists were: June Tabor, Kathryn Tickell Band, The Wilson family, The BBC singers and Northern Sinfonia.
