Abstract

All basic notions and concepts in Probability theory and Stochastic processes are well illustrated by showing the range of validity of properties and statements. The counterexamples included in this book are diverse and can be used not only for teaching any course at any level, but also they are useful for anybody doing reseach. Challenging open questions led to deep theoretical results.
