Abstract

Elective angioplasty is commonly performed for stable angina, and stent placement necessitatesantiplatelet therapy to prevent stent thrombosis. Clopidogrel significantly improves outcomes after PCI, but platelet aggregation may be affected by genetic variability in response to clopidogrel. Few studies have evaluated the use of novel antiplatelet therapy after elective PCI
