Abstract

We conducted an audit of treatment and outcomes in 116 women with gestational diabetes. These women received intense monitoring and high levels of medical and obstetric intervention. 24% would not have been identified by risk factor based screening. Cost effective strategies to identify all women with gestational diabetes are needed. (C) 2013 Elsevier Ireland Ltd. All rights reserved.
