Abstract

This paper proposes a control parameter optimization method for three-phase grid-connected inverters using particle swarm optimisation (PSO). The PSO is used to obtain the optimal parameters of adaptive controller comprising PI and PR controllers. The method does not require any additional hardware. The proposed technique has been tested under different operating conditions including normal operation and grid voltage sag. The obtained simulation results show the effectiveness and robustness of the proposed tuning technique.
