Abstract

I was commissioned by Translator in Residence at the Austrian Cultural Forum, Jen Calleja, to translate the short story ‘Sessel und Sätze’ by Anna Weidenholzer into a recipe. I did so, and made a visual installation. I gave a performance in which I asked an audience to translate the food, which I had cooked, into their own words. I read out their translations to them.
