© 2019 by Henry E. Huntington Library and Art Gallery. This special issue is dedicated to the memory of Xavier Bisaro (June 21, 1972-June 17, 2018). Bisaro was professor of musicology at the Université François Rabelais de Tours, a research fellow at the Centre d'Études Supérieures de la Renaissance, and a junior member of the Institut Universitaire de France. His work was principally dedicated to the study of music and liturgy in the early modern period.
