Abstract

© 2019 The Authors Psoriasis is associated with the metabolic syndrome, an interconnected group of conditions characterized by significant morbidity and mortality, although the causal mechanisms are still under investigation. Ikumi et al. provide evidence of a link—involving IL-17—between psoriasis and hyperglycemia in humans and mice.
