Review of evidence on assessing and evaluating landscape quality and its aesthetic dimensions. The review informs the monitoring and evaluation of landscape quality as one of the goals of the Government's 25 year Environment Plan. It contributes towards a deeper understanding of the notion "natural beauty" and related aesthetic qualities.
