Abstract

© 2021, British Psychological Society. All rights reserved.The current study explored the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on UK residents. Thematic analysis indicated that emotional waves of anxiety, low mood, anger and loneliness were experienced. Conversely, the pandemic prompted positive experiences for some, with emphasis on community engagement, new routines and ‘refocusing’.
