Abstract

Solo performance by Imogen Gunner on fiddle, harp and voice at SoloSIRENs Symposium - a day that unpacked, explored, and reflected upon the learning of the 2019 SoloSIRENs Festival. We were delighted to bring you SoloSIRENs Symposium 2020. Participants heard the story of our 2019 festival, the experiences and reflections of audiences, artists and participants.The symposium also explored the wider contexts of gender and diversity in the arts and society today.Programme: performance of own compositions on fiddle; Harry and Polly, Sí Beag Sí Mhor by O'Carolan, and traditional French song Belle Meunière on harp and voice.
