Abstract

This report draws out the findings of SPESP in relation to the UK perspective, focusing specifically on territorial differentiation and urban-rural relationships. It builds on the analysis of issues identified in the ESDP, which emphasises the role of spatial planning as a key mechanism for promoting integrated territorial development. This report also discusses the policy implications for the UK and proposals for further research
