Notes: The publication details given refer to the first public performance. This work constitutes one stage in a longer journey, the project of an opera or opera cycle on the theme of Maturin's romance. The immediate challenge is to secure a repeat performance and to record it, in order to use that recording as an instrument to arouse interest and enlist support for the next stage.
